Athenemarie is a wonderful music and belly dance teacher. Her versatility and youthful vibe makes the learning experience very engaging. She is the first mermaid performer I have ever met. I have seen her teaching dance to women of various ages, who seemed to enjoy the progressive invitation to learn the basics of belly dance, connecting with movement and music, at a personal level, adapted to their physicality .
