I've been taking lessons with Mike for a long time and it has been a truly enlightening experience for me, not only as a guitar player but as a musician in general. His knowledge of the instrument is astounding. My understanding of the guitar neck and my actual playing has improved drastically in the past few months! I highly recommend Mike as your teacher

Mike is absolute GENIUS when it comes to guitar! He completely changed my life - I was struggling to understand the basics and he made it so easy and “digestible”. I’m forever thankful for taking me on that journey. But the real MAGIC started when I asked Mike about fingerstyle - Mike’s knowledge is truly unbelievable, but on top of it he knows how to make it accessible for you!! Worth every penny!!! Make sure you book your lesson with Mike and you will be playing guitar in no time - guaranteed!

I've been learning to play under Mike's watchful eye for more than four years. He's a great teacher and all-around great guy. He has this unique ability to look at both theory and technique through his students' eyes, taking into account their particular level of skill and advancement. I can't count all the times that this has helped me get past something that seemed like an impossible challenge at the time. It doesn't matter if you just want to learn your first chords or finally nail the finer points of Doc Watson's two-finger technique, I'm sure Mike's the guy to see about it;)
