Yuliang is one of our best Piano tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Yuliang

I have always been actively listening to music since a young age and have constantly been curious about how it is made. I picked up piano, drums, and cello, and played in a wind band and orchestra to learn music with a holistic approach.

After earning my Piano Performance Diploma with High Distinction from Trinity College London, I pursued my studies in Music Composition at York St. John University, graduating with First Class Honours.

I am actively involved in creating music for live performances and streaming platforms as part of my creative endeavours. Sharing my passion for music with you is my ultimate goal.

About the lesson

I believe the core value of music class is learning to create and be creative, regardless of the specific subject we are studying.
I teach Piano Performance for ABRSM grades 1–8 and for leisure purposes.

I often arrange the pieces for students which they are interested to. Encouraging them and make them enjoy playing makes me happy!

I also offer classes in music composition and production using Logic Pro and MuseScore. Music should be accessible to everyone, regardless of age. It’s never too late to learn!

Perfect! I have been learning piano with YuLiang for about three months and I am really pleased with the progress I am making. Each week I can feel myself improving and he tailors the lessons to my goals, which makes a big difference. He is patient, explains things clearly, and helps me work through anything I get stuck on. I also appreciate how knowledgeable he is because I can ask about music theory, composition, technique, and even how to improve my performance confidence when playing in front of others.

I am genuinely looking forward to the year ahead and feel very motivated to keep improving thanks to his teaching. I can very much recommend YuLiang as an excellent piano teacher!

Perfect! We had a great experience with Yuliang. He did some "emergency" sessions with my 7.5 yr old prior to an ABRSM exam. Yuliang really helped my son feel prepared and confident for the day, making it a positive experience, which was what we really wanted. Yuliang is patient and has a really easy manner for children to be with. My son can be a bit "active" and does not always cooperate, but Yuliang really managed to find a way with him, and my son was always happy after the lesson! He also said he felt he did "good work" with Yuliang. So, thank you!

I came to Yuliang with no knowledge of playing piano his patience in explaining the basics and being able to get me to understand how to use my hands and play the simple and simple progressions I felt like he listened as well to my questions which help me understand how to play the piano properly. I am in no way a virtuoso ofter the first lesson but I definitely feel more confident. I will be back

If you're looking for an excellent piano tutor, I highly recommend Yuliang. He is incredibly artistic with a strong sense of musicality, and his creativity really shines through in his teaching.

Not only is he a nice and friendly teacher, but he also encourages independence, guiding students to develop their skills while allowing them the freedom to explore their own musical expression.

Yuliang is an excellent teacher: he is very patient and kind. He is very talented himself but breaks down the skills into easy to learn steps for beginners and those less talented than himself.
