I am pursuing a Music Education degree at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. I have played and taught both violin and bass. My specialities are in classical music and jazz. I really enjoy teaching and meeting different kinds of people.

I believe that structure and assignments are critical in providing a foundation for learning a new instrument. Inside of that structure however, I try to let the student take the lead on problem solving prioritizing what is being worked on. I believe that negotiation is key to having a successful teacher student relationship. The students personal goals should be at the forefront of every lesson.
