About Belinda
I play several instruments including Cello and have done so since a young age. I have always been passionate about music and played in Orchestras (including LSSO) growing up, performing in the Barbican, The Royal Festival Hall, The Royal Albert Hall and various churches in Paris. I studied music at University; after University I completed one year postgraduate at RNCM which was a combined performance and teaching course entitled 'PGCE with specialist Strings' and involved the study of Dalcroze and Kodaly methods. I am a keen ensemble player and love inspiring others to learn and play! I have several other teaching certifications in other spheres including a PGCE. I was a Primary school teacher for approximately five years.

I take a 'tripod' approach to instrumental teaching, including elements of technique, theory and musicianship in every lesson.
I try to make lessons as fun and varied as possible within a firm structure. I adopt a person-centred approach and am able to adapt my methods to suit individual learning styles and preferences. I provide detailed practice notes so that it's clear as to what to work on in between the lessons.
