About Rebecca
Hi! I’m a classically trained vocalist, pianist, and flautist from Leith, Edinburgh. I graduated from Edinburgh Napier in 2013 with a first class honours degree in Popular Music. I also teach music production, primarily electronic music, and mixing. I have produced music that has played on BBC Scotland, BBC6Music, CBBC and countless other channels, along with performing live across the UK in venues and festivals.

While every student will have their own personal goals, my guiding principle in teaching is that playing music should be enjoyable. I take a supportive, friendly, and relaxed approach to teaching, and I understand that music lessons are about building more than just a practical skill. Over the years I have watched my students develop confidence, patience, and a genuine love for practicing and performing. As an experienced writer, producer, and collaborator on a range of musical projects, I can also help students with recording, music production, mixing and songwriting.
