About Jessica
After a decade working as a jazz singer and educator in London and internationally, I decided to retrain to become a full-time teacher. Although I love performing, I have always been passionate teacher at heart with the ability to motivate my pupils to achieve their potential.

As a fully qualified teacher, I am trained and experienced in working with a wide range of pupils with different learning preferences. On top of this, I have acquired over 10 years of music teaching, including as vocal director for the National Youth Jazz Orchestra.
In my sessions I will adapt and respond to the needs of my pupils to ensure that my teaching is relevant and purposeful. Lessons could last 30-60 minutes, depending on what works best for the learner, and could focus on one instrument or cover a range of disciplines.
Want to learn how to read music? We can focus on that. Want to develop some improvisation strategies? No problem. Or just want to enjoy learning? I can find the music you want to play.
