About Dominic
Hi, my name is Dom!
I have a BA in Songwriting, an MA in Music and after over 10 years experience as a performing songwriter, I feel the time is now right to share my knowledge with all those budding beginner musicians out there!
I have performed both as a solo musician and as part of numerous bands and have knowledge in Music Production and Songwriting as well as being a director of international collaborations during covid and various music videos.
So if you are looking to get stuck into learning the acoustic guitar, or maybe some songwriting and even produce your very own track.....

Initial lessons will be flexible to suit your aspirations and will first look into the basic chord structures and progressions which will allow you to play ALL your favourite tracks.
Whether you're into Indie Rock, Soul, Singer/Songwriter or simply want to be able to blast out the latest hit in the charts to impress your friends at this year’s Christmas Party....
In a few weeks, you'll be on the road to becoming a musician in no time!
Once we have you making sweet sounds on your guitar and as you build confidence we can explore my specialist area of songwriting which opens a whole new world of creativity.
If there is one thing I learned from 10 years of writing and performing my own music, is that there are no rules in songwriting…
HOWEVER, it doesn’t half help knowing the techniques, tips and tricks that I wished I knew when I started out to help you get creative!
Together we can look into Song Structure, Lyrics, the use of Vocal Hooks and Guitar Motifs and gain a basic understanding of Music Production Techniques that make the Music you love SO GREAT and in turn learn how you can gain inspiration from them to make your songs sound GREAT TOO!
