Hi! My name is Amelia and I’m currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in music at UC Santa Cruz, with a focus on theory and musicology. I’ve always loved working with kids—I grew up caring for my younger siblings—and I bring that same patience and enthusiasm into every lesson. My teaching style is fun, structured, and interactive, combining rhythm games, listening activities, movement, and simple music theory to keep kids engaged while learning. A typical lesson includes warm-ups, musical play, and a creative activity like composing or storytelling with sound.
