About Raffi
I'm a music master's graduate specialising in music education.
My focus is on helping students find their own unique style on the guitar and unlock their creativity.
I have been teaching the guitar for over 8 years now through one-to-one lessons and musical workshops.
With my lessons you will walk away with original songs I help you write, a passion for the most wonderful instrument in the world, and cool songs you can show off to your friends.

My teaching method is tailored to each individual student and what you'd personally like to learn. We usually begin by learning simple songs via tablature reading as well as "Ear Training" techniques. I believe Ear training is one of the most valuable musical tools for anyone learning to play any instrument, as being able to "play what you hear" can greatly improve confidence in one's musicality. I also go through the theory and musical ideas that the songs are built on, which will then be the building blocks for learning more songs and also composing your own in future lessons with me! My primary aims are to guide the student in finding their own unique approach to playing the guitar, and to cultivate a desire for the student to continue practicing on their own.
