About Jake
Hello! I'm Jake, a Music Production graduate from BIMM, Bristol. I am grade 8 in drums, grade 5 in music theory, and produce / DJ electronic music around the UK under the alias 'Pharaoh K.'
I grew up in London and have had lots of experience playing in many different types of bands over the years; Rock, Metal, Folk, Jazz, Reggae, Brass and more, along with being head drummer in the circus show 'Puffball' which was on at the Roundhouse in Camden, London for two months in April 2014. I am currently in two bands, one is an Indie Rock group called 'Hailey's Comet,' and the other is a chilled folk / rock group called 'Moonlight.' We both gig fairly regularly around Bristol.
I would love to pass on my knowledge, skill and enthusiasm for drums to anyone who wants to learn them! I teach up to Grade 3 level. If you would like to have a chat about potential lessons, please feel free to contact me!

I teach up to Grade 3 drums or teach students that just want to learn for fun. When I teach I make sure that the lessons are enjoyable but especially tailored to how the student wants to learn, may that be through learning rhythms, learning songs or learning academic grades.
