I am primarily a guitarist and songwriter, but I've had many years of experience with other instruments like bass guitar and piano. My strong suit is music theory and composition, and I am a proud owner of a music degree from The University of Colorado Denver.

Learning from some of my best professors, I like to take a very organized and gradual, step-by-step approach to teaching, supported by some readings. I avoid delivering too much information at once, and find it very important to gauge where you're at in terms of your development. However, overall I'd like the lesson to be casual and fun, and not too strict. I prefer more creative and loose environments as opposed to the more stuffy classical or traditional music environment.
