About Emilia
I am a BA Music student at Bath Spa University
I have been playing for almost 15 years now and have been in many bands, the Cyprus Youth Orchestra and finished my music school back in Cyprus with the highest grade. I have never taught but would be very enthusiastic to do so, as I do have experience with children

My method of teaching will be mostly how I was taught am see that it is best. I have been taught by many teachers with different methods and find that I would give a mixture of all of them. As a beginner I would most likely train the ear and give good finger exercises for stretching and the correct way to hold a violin. If the student is not a beginner then I would likely listen to them and see what needs improving and will work on that with the student. I am a very good listener and will put my student first but in addition to that, I would advise different methods to the student as I see fit.

I will need to know 24 hours in advance for any cancellations in case it is an emergency 1 hour before the lesson is accepted. Lessons that are cancelled by me will be rescheduled and given to the student as part of their payment plan
