About Averil
Hi, I'm Averil and I have been playing both violin and piano for about 13 years.
I have always loved the art of making music and I would love to share my passion through my lessons. In the past, I have led my own string group and conducted an orchestra as well as partaking in many other musical activities. :)

I teach at the pace of my students and work with them to create their own unique lesson plans which reflect their individual learning styles to give them confidence and pride in their musical skills. The lessons will include fun songs as well as learning the basics of music theory to support students' learning and help them understand the meaning and construction of some of their favourite songs.
I usually offer 30 minute one-on-one lessons for £10, or hour lessons for £20, and I teach beginners who want to start learning the piano and violin. I would recommend starting with 30 min lessons as it can be overwhelming for beginners to jump straight into hour long lessons!
