About Dayo

Having had over 8 years experience in teaching music in schools and private lessons in piano and guitar and ukulele, you can be sure of my professionalism. I have worked closely with Brent Makes Music and Tri-Borough music in recorder and choir.

I have also played the piano and guitar in various bands written, produced and played for various artists and I have performed at open mic nights for various singers and also sang myself.

I have also worked in summer school music camps, teaching students all the above instruments - including drums - to perform three or four well known songs at a live venue.

About the lesson

I have 8 years’ experience teaching music in primary schools and I would love to teach you! I can teach piano, guitar, bass guitar, ukulele and recorder.

I can teach private, in a class or in groups. My latest student this summer (2024) passed his Grade 5 practical (ABRSM). I have been teaching him since year 2. He is now in year 6.

My “cool” method of teaching does definitely bring progression and results. My methods from beginner to the grade or level you want to reach are tried and true and I have a 100% record in ABSRM exams – no pressure! I just want to make you happy and proud of your progress.

I have also have experience playing for artists. I have also worked in summer school music camps.

Thank you for considering me as your tutor and I look forward to providing my dynamic love for teaching said instruments and sharing it with you!
