About Katrina
I have been teaching for 14 yrs.I have worked as a peripatetic instrumental teacher in both primary and secondary schools and i work in a private capacity also. I teach for half an hour individual lessons.
I have a degree in music and three grade 8s with the ABRSM.

I teach beginners to advanced . everyone is welcome from 5yrs old to 75yrs. I teach technique on the required instrument,theory of music,aural skills,sightreading ,ABRSM grades or equivalent and i teach various styles from classical to jazz.I encourage improvisation and composition in my teaching. I create concerts and performances to encourage live playing. I believe that music should be fun,not a chore and therefore success is guaranteed.
