About Ben
My career began studying music at college, I then went on to study at DMU. There I learnt songwriting skills, compositional techniques for a range of genres including film music and a vast understanding of the important composers of the last 100 years.

Ben is a patient and thorough teacher who ensures to take the time to really explain things. When teaching me bass he showed me different variations of chords and scales to choose from to make it easier for me. He’s also very observant and can identify when a bad habit is being formed early and tells you how to change it, my strumming technique being an example.
