About Faye
I am a recent MA Music (Vocal Studies) graduate from the University of York. I grew up in Corbridge, Northumberland where I developed a strong passion for choral music whilst singing with St Andrew’s Church choir, Hexham Abbey Girls’ choir and youth choirs at Sage Gateshead. From partaking in these, I had the opportunity to travel away on choir tours to Hannover, Berlin and Tallinn. As well as being able to perform within the UK in locations such as Birmingham Symphony Hall, The Royal Festival Hall, King’s College Cambridge and The Royal Albert Hall (Proms, 2015). In York, I sing with touring choir Caelestis, and has gained choral scholarships within The Chapter House Choir of York Minster (from 2018 - present) and Leeds Cathedral ( from 2021 - present).I work as Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager at York Music Hub, a partnership of musical education providers who deliver high quality and accessible musical experiences for children and young people in York.

The core of my singing lessons will be focused on vocal tone, breath control and mindfulness exercises. Giving the student a greater understanding of how their body works, and how to use it effectively to achieve their best sound.
My Piano and Music Theory lessons are aimed at beginners through to early grades. Giving the student a good foundational understanding - suitable for students up to GCSE level.
My lessons are aimed at school aged children/young people wanting to work through ABRSM grades. I offer 30 & 60 minute lessons (60 minute lessons advised).
