I would give lessons to anyone looking to begin learning piano, working up to Grade 5, and including Grade 5 theory. I am enthusiastic in my teaching, and place a real emphasis on the interpretation of playing a piece of music. I would start off teaching the theory aspect, so that my pupils put the theory into practice.
I have recently taught one student and helped them pass their Grade 5 Piano exam with a merit. My mother is a renowned piano teacher, and I have grown up surrounded by her amazing teaching methods (she also taught me!). I have done all of my piano grades, achieved an A at A2 Music and played a 15-minute recital.
I also work in Musical Theatre, having worked with renowned Musical Directors.
My rates are consistent and universal for all abilities and grades.
I ask for a 24 hour cancellation policy, and in some circumstances, 12 hours.
I have 2:1 in a BA English and Related Literature from the University of York.
I achieved an A at A-level music, with 95% on my performance.
I have achieved all piano exams, Grade 5 theory and Grade 5 cello.
I have taught a few pupils before and guided them through to pass their exams. My mother is a music teacher (who also taught me), and I sometimes cover some of her lessons.
