About Isla
This is my first time tutoring but I am currently in my 3rd year of Studying Musical Theatre at the BRIT School and hope to go on to do an undergraduate course of Musical Theatre at Drama School. I have achieved my Grades 5-7 in MT singing but because of COVID-19 I haven’t been able to complete my Grade 8. I hope to complete my Grade 8 and Diploma in Musical Theatre singing in the Autumn. I am going to also do my ABRSM Grade 5 Theory in the autumn. I have a passion for Musical Theatre and I want to be able to help lots of people to achieve what they want to achieve in singing.

I would approach these lessons by getting to know the student and what they want to achieve. I would ask them to sing through some exercises with me to see what their voice is like and if they are a Bass, Tenner, Alto or Soprano. I want to make every lesson fun and for the student to walk away feeling like they have learnt something. :)
