About Dolly
I have been doing translation/interpretation work for over 20 years now and some private tutoring both to English Speakers who wanted to learn Russian and vice versa. I am a Conversationalist at Staford School for the past 2 years and I help Year 10 and Year 11 students to master their Russian and also prepare them for their Russian GCSE's. I also give some private lessons for those who just chose to learn the language because they love and / or plan to use it for work, trips etc.

My teaching methods depend on students. I consider different learning styles, interests, goals, ages and cultural backgrounds. But main purpose is to have fun learning Russian!
I think students respond very well to things that interest them. This conversation should certainly be in the context of the taught material, but I choose to give them some freedom to chat, express their opinions and speak without interruptions; in other words, make it a freer and more natural practice.
