I am interested in teaching because I understand how, for English Literature and Language, a teacher can make or break the subject. Having had some wonderfully inspiring teachers who made me fall in love with the subject and subsequently pursue it at degree level, I wish to replicate my teachers' step.

My lessons are best for students who struggle to see the purpose of studying English Literature and Language and, therefore, underperform due to a lack of engagement. Through a bottom-up approach, I am capable of enabling my students to understand the process of literary analysis and its application in creating an argument. I therefore will work in-depth with my students to explode quotes for meaning, create sophisticated literary arguments, and produce eloquent expressions of language.
