About Amelia
I am a student currently in year 10, sitting my GCSEs next June. I have studied French at school since the age of 4. I have never tutored students in this subject before but I believe that I work really well with children and am I reliable and helpful teacher, that will encourage them to learn.

I tend to focus on working on vocabulary and learning fun facts about the French culture (food, school, sports) with junior school aged children (reception to year 6) and with students in secondary school (years 7-9) additionally begin to develop grammar and speaking skills.
I am very enthusiastic about my subject, as it is one I personally really enjoy learning, so I am sure I can help the child develop the same passion I have for the culture. I pride myself on my communication skills, i.e, I am able to interact with people of all ages, and effectively deliver information based on the different learning styles each child is suited to.
I also believe I have strong interpersonal skills, meaning that I am naturally inclined towards wanting to help people and create warm relationships, which in turn, boost learning.
