About Tekiyah
My name is Tekiyah, I usually go by Tyki! I've been a visual artist for as long as I can remember. My love for the arts has placed me in art shows during high school, and to greatly appreciated college classes. I have studied life drawing, realism, abstractions, watercolor, India ink, charcoal, conte, oil/chalk pastels, ballpoint and calligraphy pens, and so much more. I've created so many styles for myself and am always looking for something new to try. I love to inspire others and I love seeing people who want to grow in their art skills. I also attended school for audio engineering! That is something I'm excited to incorporate later.

I want to help others fulfill their love for the arts. This is for entry-level to intermediate aspiring artists! We will explore different techniques for drawing, including shapes and how they are important, elements such as lines and shading, and color theory! Color can be vital for drawings and it helps to elevate your brain in your everyday life as well! There is so much to learn from art, ranging from relaxation/meditation, learning to inspire yourself, and spreading your love and appreciation for it to others!
