Hi! My name is Wouter and I am a master student in Mathematics. I tutor in mathematics A, B, C and D for HAVO and VWO and additionally I provide exam training. I have been tutoring for over 9 years.

About Wouter
hey! My name is Wouter (: I am a 23-year-old student and have just started my master's degree in Mathematics at TU Delft.
I have been tutoring for about 9 years now and have helped VMBO, HAVO and VWO students for mathematics (A, B, C and D), physics, English and chemistry. In addition, I was a teaching assistant for Applied Mathematics and Aerospace Engineering at TU Delft.
I have helped several students who initially failed on maths until they finished above a 7 average at the end of the year. In addition, not once has a student failed to achieve our jointly determined goals. In addition to these results, I think the way we interact is important and that you understand why mathematics can really be 'fun'. I notice that this also contributes enormously to your final results and makes my help less necessary in the future. I am very involved in the learning process and expect the same from the other side. This is one of my only requirement. If this succeeds, from my experience you will always end up where you want to end up.

- I started tutoring when I was 15 in high school. I have helped VMBO, HAVO and VWO students for mathematics (A, B, C and D), physics, English and chemistry. In addition, I was a student assistant for Applied Mathematics and Aerospace Engineering at the Technical University of Delft.
- Usually I teach for an hour, but if more time is needed, I don't mind running late or planning extra lessons.
- Besides the fact that the main goal is ofcourse getting good grades, I also pay a lot of attention to really understanding the material and being able to work with it on intuition. I will therefore prepare many questions and practice tests myself to really test whether you fully understand. I think it's important that you really start to 'like' mathematics. From experience this works best to improve results even if it may take a little more time at the beginning. In addition, I like to stay in touch about how your tests/exams went and I would like to go through them together afterwards. I am a calm person and often hear that I have a lot of patience, but I do expect you to be really focused during the lessons.
