Hi I'm Naomi! Gap-year student, worked as an assistant art teacher at a secondary school in Nigeria during the pandemic. I'd love to assist giving extra art lessons and drawing lessons to children.

About Naomi
Hi! my name is Naomi, I am 20 years old of Dutch and Nigerian descent. I am currently taking a gap year, but plan to start a fine arts bachelor at the Rietveld academy next year.
During the pandemic, I had the opportunity to work as an assistant art teacher at a secondary school in Nigeria. Here I learned a lot about teaching art. While I worked there I mainly taught the subject of facial anatomy as portraiture drawing and painting is one of my talents, but I also have a good understanding of other art topics and concepts (for example: shadow and light , composition, abstract, etc.)

I think it's best to teach using assignments that we do together. To get a good grasp of the concepts.
This can be done either in-person or as a video call. Although I prefer in-person.
Using your syllabus, I can make a lesson plan, and use it as inspiration for the assignments we do in the lesson.
