About Nathan
My name is Nathan Hill, and I've been playing guitar for over 9 years — across rock, blues, acoustic, and original music. I've performed in bands, written and recorded original material, and taught guitar in private and group settings for the last 5 years. I also work with students who want to write their own songs or perform live. My students trust me because I'm approachable, practical, and I take time to understand what they want to achieve. I've helped beginners play their first full song within weeks, rhythm players develop lead confidence, and singer-songwriters build the skills to bring their ideas to life. With me, you'll learn to play with confidence, creativity, and real musicality.

Hi, I'm Nathan Hill. I've taught guitar for 5 years, and my focus is on helping you play the music you love — whether that's rock, blues, acoustic folk, or your own original songs. I work with beginners who want to learn their first chords, intermediate players who want to develop lead and rhythm skills, and singer-songwriters who want to improve their accompaniment and writing. My lessons are built around practical skills: chord transitions, strumming patterns, fingerpicking, and basic soloing. For lead players, we work on scales, phrasing, bending, and vibrato. For songwriters, I teach chord progressions, structure, and how to develop musical ideas. I also cover music theory in a simple, applied way — only what you need to become a better player. My approach is patient and encouraging, and I tailor every lesson to your musical tastes and goals.
