About Miren
I am a graduate in French and Economics from the University of Warwick, and through my own experience of learning a foreign language and studying economics, I have come to understand the importance of tailored learning in helping students build confidence, develop a genuine understanding of the subject and enjoy the learning process.
Alongside my degree, I worked as a private tutor in Spanish and Economics, supporting students with their academic work and adapting my approach to suit their individual needs and learning styles. I have also gained experience teaching English in a French secondary school, where both my training and classroom experience helped me develop a deeper understanding of what makes a lesson successful for each student and how to support their progress and build their confidence.
As a native English and Spanish speaker with a strong command of French, I understand the challenges and rewards of learning a language. Whether you are looking to strengthen your understanding of Economics, improve your Spanish or build confidence ahead of an exam, I would love to help you along the way!

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, ability and goals.
I have experience tutoring Spanish and Economics, and my students have achieved or exceeded their target grades, including top grades. I create clear, engaging resources to simplify challenging concepts and support effective exam preparation. Having taught English to secondary school students in France and volunteered at an A-level college supporting Spanish lessons, I bring classroom experience and a range of teaching techniques to my tutoring.
Additionally, as a graduate in both languages and economics, I understand the importance of clear explanations and effective teaching methods in making complex concepts accessible while creating an engaging and enjoyable learning experience.
My lessons are structured, interactive and focused on building confidence, understanding and achieving each student's full potential. If you're looking for support with GCSE or A-level Spanish, A-level Economics, or are a complete beginner in Spanish, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
