About Emanuele
I'm half English, half Sicilian — which means I grew up with two languages, two cultures and a very strong opinion about pineapple on pizza.
I've spent half of my life living and working in London, which has given me a real appreciation for how hard it actually is to learn a language as an adult, especially when life is busy and traditional classes feel dry and uninspiring. It's also made me deeply aware of how lucky I am to have grown up bilingual, and I want to share that with as many people as possible.
Outside of teaching, I'm passionate about sports and fitness, swimming, and I've been a lifelong video game enthusiast. My first love was Lara Croft, which probably explains my obsession with history and literature too!

My lessons are conversation-first and culture-driven: no boring textbooks and no endless grammar drills! I teach Italian the way it actually lives: through real dialogue, stories, history, food, culture and the kind of language you'll genuinely use when you're in Italy or talking to Italians.
Every session is tailored to you and what you actually want to get out of it. A typical lesson is 60 minutes and usually flows between free conversation, a focused skill (pronunciation, vocabulary, a grammar point that actually makes sense in context) and a quick recap with something practical to take away.
I'm a native Italian and English bilingual speaker with intermediate French and Spanish, and a genuine lifelong obsession with Italian language, history and classical literature, so if you ever want to go deeper into the culture behind the language, we can absolutely do that too.
I work with complete beginners all the way through to intermediate learners (A1–B2) who want to speak with real confidence and naturalness.
If you've tried learning Italian before and felt like something was missing, that's probably the cultural connection. That's what I'm here for!
