About Natalia
I have been teaching Portuguese (& English) for over 7 years in professional language schools in Brazil, as well as within my own company (trustnative.com) which focuses on languages for Business.
I have experience teaching students from an array of backgrounds (from visually impaired young adults to actively working and retired expats), as well as from various professional backgrounds and corporate industries. I have taught and developed students of every level, from speaking absolutely zero Portuguese to becoming Professionally Fluent, almost native!
With my own language company, dedicated to professional language courses and corporate translations, I am also an experienced translator of English & Portuguese, giving me a good understanding of professional vocabulary and how it best translates between the languages.
Having also been a student of English, Spanish and Italian, I have been able to experience language as both the Teacher and the Student, which helps me to understand the challenges that language students face and how to overcome these to reach fluency fast.

Hi, I'm Natalia!
I offer Portuguese classes, designed for students looking to develop their conversation and vocabulary skills, either for travelling to one of the ten Portuguese speaking countries around the world, and engage in informal conversations up to more formal situations such as negotiating a new house or a business venture in Portuguese. I teach Portuguese from Beginner to Advanced levels.
Within my classes, we practice a lot of conversation, to ensure you develop your vocabulary, conversational skills and fluency fast, as well as Portuguese rapport building and other cultural aspects of the language.
My teaching method is very practical to ensure you do a lot of talking. I use the best books for your lesson needs and I also add additional interesting material to make sure the classes are fun and enjoyable.
Portuguese grammar, like all Latin based languages, can be complex, however my teaching method breaks it down into manageable chunks and enables you to become active in the language, quickly and confidently.
