About Heloise
I specialise in guided, student-centred teaching. I speak with no regional accent and am skilled at correcting pronunciation and spelling errors. With years of experience in writing and proofreading, I have a strong command of grammar and rhetoric. I excel at teaching argumentative essay writing and applying critical thinking. My teaching approach is gentle and step-by-step, focusing on communication and effective learning. Lessons are conducted either entirely in Chinese or in a mixed Chinese-English format (the latter is for beginner level only).

Advanced instruction: Personalised and tailored to your specific needs and proficiency level.
Due to the high level of difficulty in learning Chinese, the optimal class duration is 1–1.5 hours.
Native Chinese speaker, seven years of writing experience, first-prize winner in a municipal essay competition.
Target students: Accepting both beginner and advanced learners. For online teaching, there is no age restriction.
