Perfect! I cannot recommend Zhiwei enough. He is a patient teacher who clearly puts a lot of effort and thought into personalising and tailoring his lessons to suit the strengths and weaknesses of his students. He has changed the way I think about learning languages - his lessons are a gateway to not only a new way to speak but an understanding of a new culture. We approach learning from all angles, reading, writing, speaking, and listening. He includes not only the basics needed to pass exams or hold basic conversations but supplementary materials such as poetry and music. Truly the best language teacher I have ever had.

Perfect! Learning Chinese with Zhiwei is an amazing experience! He adapts every lesson to my goals — like preparing me to work in Taiwan by teaching both traditional and simplified Chinese — and to my beginner level, so the language always feels within reach. What I love most is how he brings the culture to life with songs, history, anecdotes, and regional differences, making each class lively and memorable. I'm now even motivated to take the HSK exam — something I didn't plan to do at the beginning. I can't recommend Zhiwei highly enough to anyone wanting to learn Chinese.
