About Wanda
The feedback I receive from my students and their parents tells me that I am good at my job as a Dutch and English online tutor. It is so rewarding to see that a student's confidence increases, the grades improve, and exams are passed. The relationships and trust I develop are heartwarming! Some students stay in touch with me even after the lessons have finished. My lessons are informal, interactive, varied, and fine-tuned to the student's background, interests, and learning goals. There is also room for laughter in my lessons, because learning should be fun in order to stay focused and motivated. I always try to engage parents (where applicable) and sometimes other teachers or professionals in the learning process. Teaching and Learning is Teamwork!

I have a positive attitude. I am kind, patient and flexible and adapt my classes to the student's needs. I like to prepare my lessons well, so the teaching itself is efficient, clear and focused on the pre-determined lesson goals. In this way, there will also be time for a welcome change during the lesson, such as playing a game, doing a role play or working on a specific project. My lessons are always interactive, to keep my students alert and motivated. It speaks for itself that I take my student's culture and character into consideration, making sure that they always feel safe with me. I am TEFL-level 5 and TEFL Business English qualified and have vast experience in online Dutch and English tutoring with students varying from elementary school to adults. A typical lesson is one hour, but I am flexible.

Details
When you take out a package, I will give you the first lesson for free. So, for example, if you take out a package of five lessons, you receive six lessons for the same price. In case you wish you book and pay per lesson, and would like to have an informal first impression to see if there's a click, you can book a one hour lesson. If, after the first 15 minutes, you decide that you do not want to continue with me, no hard feelings. I will not charge you for those 15 minutes and cancel the meeting. If you're happy to continue after 15 minutes, it will count it as a full lesson.
