Hi, My name is Marcela. I was born and raised in the U.S.A, but love to travel, learn about new cultures/customs, and of course try new and exciting food!

I have a Masters degree in teaching with an emphasis on TESOL and I am currently a college professor teaching ESL at the university level. Additionally, I have over 10 years experience teaching ESL in a variety of settings, from being a missionary overseas, to working with migrant day laborers, after school programs in minority communities, private courses, and public college courses. I am extremely patient and know that language learning takes time! Thus, I believe in customizing lessons to cater student's individual needs. I use university resources, such as textbooks, handouts, and my own curriculum to create custom lesson for each of my students
