About Laura
I am a recent graduate of Spanish and Portuguese from the University of Edinburgh and I am now living in Lisbon. I have experience teaching people of all ages (from 2 to 62) English and Spanish and firmly believe it is never too late to learn a new language! I love to share my passion with others and especially love to see my students grow in confidence.

Having been a language student for many years, I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is make sure you feel comfortable making mistakes and giving things a go. I encourage my students to speak as much as possible, as I believe this is the most motivating and enjoyable part of language learning, as well as the most useful in the vast majority of cases. However, as a result of my degree, I have a very good understanding of grammar and do believe it is important to have a good base understanding to build on. Our lessons can really be tailored to whatever you would most like to focus on.
I am available to teach all levels of English and beginner and intermediate Spanish.
