About Katherine
I am a student. I have tutored English in Spain as well as been an englsih language partner in Egypt. My students have improved grades on their standardized tests and achieved confidence in their vocabulary and speaking skills. I am about to join a team of ESL assistants this fall for a local elementary school.

I believe teaching with the language immersion technique. Beginning by asking questions that are interesting and tailored to each students interests, I prefer to help facilitate organic conversation. From here I normally work through grammer and then vocabulary. Towards the end combining the two or focusing in on cultural or colloquial aspects of the language.
