About Geraldine
Trained originally as a teacher, I then went into the world of professional music and have travelled and worked internationally. I have taught for over 35 years and my pupils have gained mainly merits and distinctions in exams. At school I excelled at English and having always loved languages- I have studied French, Italian and German - I have gained my CELTA qualification enabling me to teach EFL/ESOL. Having grown up in London, I am a native English speaker with clear pronunciation. I have a current DBS certificate.

Having worked both in England and abroad and done much corporate work, my social and conversational skills are excellent. I can teach on a one-to- one basis or in a classroom situation. I am happy to teach groups or individuals from beginner to advanced level English. I structure my lessons on the 4 skills of English- reading, writing, listening and speaking but am happy to adapt lessons to pupils' requirements.
