About Chantel
I'm a certified English as a Second Language teacher and passed with Grade "A" Pass with Distinction. Since that time, I've enjoyed teaching students from all over the world, of all ages, and of all English levels to become confident English speakers. I understand how difficult and frustrating learning a new language can be, so I work hard to help each person relax and enjoy their lessons. I strongly believe that only when a person feels comfortable with their teacher can they really begin to learn quickly and easily. I create a team atmosphere with each person so that we work together to achieve language goals.

I work with each student to develop lessons that are fun, informative, and stress-free. Each lesson will provide exactly what you need. For example, if you need to improve your speaking ability, I will ask you ahead of time your interests and then give you targeted vocabulary and speaking practice. I use worksheets, websites, music, videos, and any material students have to make lessons interesting and educational. My 14 years experience teaching English as a Second Language as well being a native-English speaking person gives me the advantage of knowing how to efficiently teach students to become comfortable with English.
