About Quézia
My family moved to the US when I was 1 year old. My first language is English and I learned Portuguese later, when I was 15 years old. Having had the experience of learning a language when I was older, I understand very well the challenges my students face. I believe this helps me customize classes to create a safe and relaxed environment for students to maximize their learning. I have been teaching English and TOEFL prep for over 15 years and many of my students now hold MBA degrees from major US universities such as Harvard, MIT, Berkley, Stanford, London Business School, NYU, Columbia, among others. I love teaching and I love helping my students achieve their personal and professional goals.

I believe that a language can be only be spoken by actually SPEAKING. That's why my method engages the student in conversations about various subjects to let loose and enjoy communicating in English. Classes are light, as if you were meeting up with a friend for coffee, because my intention is to make it enjoyable and not one more thing on your to-do list.
