About Ori
Olá! I am a native European Portuguese speaker and an experienced private online tutor with over 5 years of successful teaching history.
I specialise in youth education (ages 7 to 18), multi-subject academic support, and family group language coaching.
Alongside my hands-on teaching background, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and am completing my Master’s in Human Resource Management (HRM), while actively working as an International Recruiter.
This unique academic combination means I deeply understand adult learning styles, structured educational planning, and the cultural dynamics of families preparing for global relocation.
Throughout my career, I have successfully coached young learners through critical school years across European Portuguese, Mathematics, and English, as well as full multi-generation family units (parents and children learning together).
I pride myself on creating a warm, supportive, and patient online environment where students of all ages feel confident making mistakes and growing. - For Relocating Families (Group Lessons): Tailored packages designed for parents and children to learn together. I manage the mixed-age dynamic perfectly, ensuring parents get the practical vocabulary they need for moving to Portugal while children get the school-readiness tools they require.
- Academic Bridge Training: Helping international students learn academic and mathematical terminology in Portuguese so they can smoothly transition into local or bilingual school systems.
