About Yann
I’m Yann, originally from Cameroon, where French is the language of daily life — spoken at home, in the streets, in business and everywhere in between. I moved to the UK and now speak both French and English fluently. I’m not a traditional teacher and I don’t pretend to be. I’m someone who has lived the language and wants to help you actually speak it, not just study it. I believe the fastest way to learn French is to use it from day one, which is exactly what we do together

I teach French the way people actually learn to speak it — through real conversation, not textbooks. No drilling grammar rules or reciting the alphabet. From your very first lesson, we talk. I correct you naturally as we go, just like living in a French-speaking country would. This method works faster because your brain learns in context, not isolation.
