About Youna
Hi, I'm Youna, I am a native French speaker with a real passion for languages and teaching. I just finished a Bachelor’s Degree in English studies and I’ll be starting a new role as a Language Assistant at a secondary school in the UK.
I have a true passion for Language and teaching!
During my studies, I tutored students in English and did a teaching internship in a French school, which confirmed how much I love this job and pushed me to pursue it further, with the goal of becoming an English teacher in France. That path brought me to apply as a Modern Language Assistant. What I enjoy most is watching students gain confidence as they progress, whether they're just starting out or getting ready for an exam.
I lived my whole life in France, so as well as teaching the language I want to share my knowledge on French Culture!

I am a native French speaker with four years of experience tutoring students in English in France.
I am starting a new role as a Language Assistant at a secondary school in the UK this year, which means I have first-hand experience with the UK school environment and how French is taught at GCSE and A-Level.
I focus on speaking and conversation practice. We also work on grammar, vocabulary and exam preparation when needed.
A typical lesson lasts one hour (can be more depending on the student’s needs). We can meet online or in person.
My lessons are friendly and adapted to each student's level and goals.
I teach all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced students. I can also help with homework and exam revision.
