About Venus
I am a native French speaker and a first-year student at Oxford Brookes University. I grew up in Dakar, a French-speaking city, and I was educated in the French school system throughout my life, which has given me a strong command of the language and authentic pronunciation.
Before moving to the UK, I also taught English to beginner students, which helped me develop patience, clear communication skills and an understanding of how to explain languages in a simple and effective way.
French is an important part of my background, as my family is French and lives in Paris, and I regularly use the language in both academic and everyday settings.
I am friendly, patient and committed to helping students feel comfortable and confident when learning French. My lessons focus on practical communication, pronunciation and real-life conversation, and I always adapt my teaching style to the student’s level and goals.
Whether you are a complete beginner or simply want to improve your conversational French, I aim to make lessons engaging, supportive and enjoyable.
