About Lou
Being born and raised in a French-speaking environment, I never really thought about how difficult and confusing this language could be. It is only when I started to talk to friends who tried learning the language that I realized that French could be really tricky.
The good thing about knowing multiple languages (I also speak a bit of Italian and Mandarin), is that it helped me figure out which were the difficult parts of learning French, and how to explain them more easily.
While living in the Netherlands, I also learned how useful it is to know different languages.

Hi there, I'm Lou! I grew up in Belgium (the French-speaking side, obviously), before moving to the Netherlands for my bachelor's in European politics. In the Netherlands, I started helping out my friends who needed help with their French classes, or who wanted to chat to keep their level up. I recently moved to Dublin for my master's at UCD.
