Methodology
I am always happy to teach about my own country and speak my language, so whether you want to be more fluent for your next holidays or learn more about French literature, I will do my best to help you achieve your goals.
Experience
I am a native French speaker living in South West London.
I studied French Literature in La Sorbonne (degree) and got a Master's degree in theatre studies (Paris-Diderot, Mention Bien).
If you are already fluent and wish to improve your French, I can help you. I am very familiar with the grammar, including all the rules and exceptions we have to learn when learning French, as I had myself a lot of very detailed and specific grammar classes when studying in La Sorbonne. You should always remember that even French people struggle with it sometimes !
If you just want to improve your conversational French, then we can plan to talk about the subjects that matter the most to you.
I love literature, cinema and theatre, and will always try to teach the language as well as the culture : whether it's about food, poetry, tourism, or whatever you like ! I know how it is to learn a foreign language myself, therefore I will always be patient and kind.
I have been teaching French Literature when I was in Paris to students from age 12 to 18 years old, and since I moved to London I have started teaching French as a second language with adults.
