About Louise
I've always loved languages and the way they open doors to meet people from everywhere. Through cultural mediation work in my career, I discovered how much I loved the direct human connection it created, that feeling of helping someone discover or understand something new. I also had the chance to lead a few classroom interventions at university, it's actually what first gave me the itch to teach. When I left France to live in London and started learning English myself, day after day, I realised how many intercultural challenges are involved in learning a language and discovering a new culture. That's why I'm now training to become a certified French teacher. If you're learning French for a new life project, for work, or just because you love it, I'd genuinely be happy to help you.

My lessons are built around kindness and confidence-building. I believe you learn best when you feel comfortable making mistakes. I adapt each session to your goals, your level, and the specific challenges you're facing, mixing conversation practice, grammar, and cultural context so that French feels alive, not just theoretical. Having lived abroad myself, I know what it takes to learn a language outside your comfort zone, and I use that experience to guide how I teach.
Lessons are 60 minutes long, giving enough time to cover a topic in depth while keeping the pace dynamic.
I'm a native French speaker from Angoulême, near Bordeaux. I hold a Master's degree in cultural communication and am currently training to become a certified French teacher. I also hold the Cambridge English C1 Advanced certificate, earned while living in London.
I welcome students of all ages and all levels whether your goal is travel, work, or simply the pleasure of learning French!
