About Alycia
I'm a native French speaker, and helping others learn French has been a passion of mine since middle school. I started tutoring newcomers who were learning French for the first time, and I loved the experience so much that I continued tutoring throughout CEGEP.
Over the years, I've come to appreciate that everyone learns differently. My goal has always been to make learning feel comfortable, encouraging, and accessible, whatever your starting point may be.
Today, as a mom supporting my own child in a bilingual learning environment, I continue to see how important patience, flexibility, and adapting to each learner's individual needs can be.
I'm fluent in both French and English, so I can explain concepts in either language and help you gradually build confidence in French without feeling overwhelmed.
Whether you're a complete beginner, a student who needs a little extra support, or an adult looking to improve your conversational French, I'll tailor our lessons to your goals and learning style.
I offer online and in-person lessons for children, teenagers, and adults. My approach is friendly, patient, and practical: a space where you can ask questions, make mistakes, practice, and celebrate your progress.
