About Romane
Hi, I'm Romane — a French native now based in Montreal.
I've spent 10 years teaching French and working in communications across different countries: France, Qatar, Australia, and Canada.
I'm patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in your progress. I've seen French change my students' lives — whether that meant passing a DELF exam, landing a job, or starting fresh in Canada. I'm here to make that happen for you too :)

My name is Romane, and I'm a native French speaker from la Bretagne with over 10 years of experience in international communications. Having lived and worked across multiple countries I know firsthand how transformative it is to master a new language and how much the right support matters.
My lessons are fully tailored to you. No two students are the same, so I take time in our first session to understand your goals, your level, and what makes you tick. From there, we build a learning path that actually fits your life whether that's casual conversation practice, tackling French grammar, preparing for a job interview in French, or getting ready for your DELF exam.
Speaking of DELF — I've helped students successfully pass their exam and use it as a stepping stone to immigrate to Canada. If that's your goal too, I know exactly what it takes.
A typical lesson with me might include a mix of conversation, targeted grammar exercises, listening practice, and real-life scenarios drawn from your own experiences and needs. I like to keep things dynamic and encouraging (because learning a language should feel exciting, not stressful!!)
My lessons are open to all levels, from A1 to C2, and all ages. Whether you're learning French for travel, work, school, or a brand new life in Canada; je suis là!
