About Lea
I hold a Master’s degree in Teaching and currently work as a French language assistant in a secondary school in Ireland. I have experience helping students prepare for the Leaving Certificate and supporting adults to improve their fluency and confidence in French.
I understand the challenges and anxiety that can come with speaking a foreign language, which is why I aim to create a supportive, friendly, and interactive learning environment. My lessons are fully personalised so that each student can progress at their own pace and gain confidence in speaking French.

I offer personalised French grinds for Leaving Certificate students and adults, focusing on conversation, exam preparation and writing skills. My lessons help students build confidence and achieve higher marks in both written and oral exams.
As a native French speaker with a Master’s degree in French language and linguistics, I have strong expertise in grammar, vocabulary and syntax. This allows me to provide clear and detailed support with written French, including exam essays, school assignments and more advanced academic writing when needed.
I also offer proofreading and feedback to help students improve accuracy, structure and expression in their writing.
My teaching methods include:
Focus on oral exam preparation and conversational fluency
Writing support with corrections and detailed feedback
Engaging multimedia resources (videos, articles, podcasts)
