About Laure
I am a warm, encouraging and supportive teacher with a good sense of humour. I have an undying passion for French and teaching it. I believe that learning a language is about more than learning linguistic skills. It is also about learning different cultures and opening one's mind to the rest of the world; it is about becoming a more tolerant and responsible global citizen.

I am a French native with an English Literature degree (from Cardiff University, 2:1) and a PGCE in MFL. I am a very creative and inspirational French teacher. I have extensive experience in teaching at all levels, and I have been a secondary school teacher for over 25 years, both in the state and private sectors.
I carefully plan engaging and individualised lessons to fit each tutee's needs. I have a long track record of excellent public examination results and added value.
A typical tuition with me lasts 1 hour and includes a series of short tasks to practise all four skills, unless the tutee's requirements are more specific.
